Taschenstift is German for “pocket pen,” and when I saw this new shape from Hinze Pen Co. at the 2024 Atlanta Pen Show, I knew this was my next collaboration.

“Breakadawn” features an amazing, swirly, colorful Starry Night Resins acrylic that is heavy on the Lime Green, Orange, and Purple, among other shades. The Steel Jowo #6 nib is electroplated Purple to match the aesthetic of the pen, and comes in several different tip sizes.

The pen ships with a mini-converter, and also takes short international ink cartridges. Each pen also comes with its own Rickshaw single small pen sleeve, featuring Hinze Nib artwork on the exterior, and an Orange plush interior.
