Meet my new favorite pencil case - the Nomadic Roller.
I really wasn't sure I was going to like this case, but I figured since I have been buying some pricier pens of late, I wanted to be sure to protect them individually, so enter the Nomadic Roller. From the outside, it appears to be a standard looking zip up pencil case, but when you open it up, the middle section rolls out with five individual pen pockets and two smaller side velcro pockets for holding things like pencil leads, erasers, or small refill cartridges.
My original thought was that there wasn't going to be any room in the case for anything other than what is in the pockets, but surprisingly enough, there is room for a good five or six additional pens in the free space. You can tell in one of the photos below that I can fit five Uni Style Fit multi pens in the case along with the five pens and refills I already have rolled up.
I have had this in my work backpack for a good month now, and the nylon shell still looks brand new. That is too short of a time frame to give a real durability assessment, but it looks to be very well made, and there are no early signs of breaking down. If you are looking for some individual pen protection plus a little added storage, I can't reccommend the Nomadic Roller enough.
