If you have read this blog for any length of time, you know that ballpoint pens are not my favorite. But, if I'm wanting to mix it up a bit, and the situation calls for it, the Uni-Ball Jetstream is the ballpoint pen I always reach for. This Jetstream 3 multi-pen contains black, blue, and red 0.7mm cartridges in a very lightweight and comfortable barrel. If you have used a Jetstream before, then you know how nice these pens are. I am constantly impressed by them, especially with how clean and neat they write. There is rarely any mess on the tip or stray globs of ink on the page like you find with other ballpoints. If you are a fan of the Jetstream line, then this is the multi-pen for you.
Jetpens carries this model in five different barrel colors - clear, black, blue, pink, and green - and at $6.00 for three ink cartridges, that's a pretty fair deal.
