Review: Uni-Ball Signo RT Lavender Black

Uni-Ball Signo RTI love trying all the different colors of the pens I like, but there are only so many words I can say about the make and model of the pen.  Whether I like the pen or not probably isn't going to change depending on the color, but the possibility lies that I may not like the color itself.  So, in the event I just want to get a nice gauge of the pen ink, I am going to try a few different things, like transcribing some lyrics in this case.

The Uni-Ball Signo RT is one of my favorites already, and the Lavender Black color struck me as interesting when browsing JetPens, so of course I had to order one.  Once I put it into use, I was shocked how awesome this color is.  I have turned the corner on blue black ink after not being crazy about it at first, but I think all pens should start coming with a lavender black ink option.  It is really that good.  This ink says "I can conform to your corporate culture, but I am going to do it my way".  I can't recommend  this color enough, but don't get overly excited just yet - JetPens is sold out at the moment.  They are usually quick to restock though.  (Update: They will be back in stock no later than next week)

The lyrics are from the song "Brassneck" from The Wedding Present.  They are one of the greatly under appreciated bands of the past 25 years, and lead singer David Gedge is a wonderful songwriter.  He can pretty much do no wrong in my book, except maybe this cheesy video for Brassneck, which I won't blame him for.
