Pen Addict reader Greg is on a mission to track down a document holder, and I'd like to enlist the power of the people to see if we can help him round it up. The full email:
I'm a loyal RSS subscriber and fellow blogger, and I was hoping you and/or your readers could help me get a little more information on a product that I just can't seem to track down.
It's a Japanese document holder that is apparently common in Japan, but impossible to track down elsewhere. They're super-cheap and super-handy, but the closest thing I've found is one that's twice the size, available at Staples and OfficeMax.
I've got a full post of it here: http://modernwhaling.com/?p=946, complete with pictures and more descriptions. If you know of anything, or think your readers might be able to help me track these down, I'd be in your debt.
Please check out the link for some great photos of the document holder Greg is looking for. It looks pretty cool, and I may have to pick one up myself if it can be located. I saw one with a clipboard clip on the exterior at Wal-Mart last night, and it was probably 1"-1 1/2" thick. I think Greg's is thinner and simpler.
Long time Twitter friend Casey from cinemafromage.com is looking for a pen with a light on it to use in theaters:
@dowdyism Hey Dowdy, I've been meaning to ask you...I need an ink pen with a light in it for notes in a dark movie theater..any ideas?
I don't own one myself, but I imagine some of you out there have. Any suggestions for Casey?
