With every component of the pen able to be customized, you can make it the most unique addition to your stationery collection.
The Journeyman has some new features that Wingback customers have been after since the launch of our original Mechanical pen. The new barrel is longer, allowing for any standard G2 ink cartridge, including gel ink cartridges. It also features a clip attached to the crown for better storage, and which stops the pen from rolling away from you. These features transform the pen into a travel companion that you are able to clip onto clothes or notebooks, to stay with you throughout your journey.
The Journeyman Pen features some of the hallmark elements from the original mechanical pen. Its reassuring weight encourages more time to be taken with every pen stroke. Our signature diamond knurling around the barrel and on the crown makes the pen easy to grip and our unique (and addictive) bolt action style twist mechanism secures the tip in place with an easy one-handed operation.
One of the original reasons for setting up Wingback was to bring users into the design process as much as possible, and create a bespoke product that will be treasured for perpetuity. For the first time ever, we’re delighted to bring customization down to a component level, so you can create something truly bespoke. You’ll be able to choose the metal for the barrel, crown and clip, allowing you to mix and match Brass, Stainless Steel and Black Steel. Titanium will be available only as a complete product. We’re also offering customized engraving of up to 35 characters along the length of the clip and on the Pen Rest.
